Monster Island (2019)

Monster Island, The Asylum's mockbuster for 2019, was released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is the story of an island that may contain a monster.


This asylum movie has the budget for a large kid's dinner. The film uses it wisely. It focuses on a handful of people and keeps its big actors on one stage so that all sequences can be recorded during lunch. The Asylum will probably do a good job, considering it is a kaiju-themed movie.
